Contracts Specialist Administrator II

Work location: Texas Health Resources, 612 East Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011

Work hours: Full-time, Day shift; 40 hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Here’s What You Need

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field OR 4 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience

  • 4 Years Relevant work experience in contract management/administration, preferably information technology contracts. (Required)

Skills

  • General PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office product suite is required. Previous experience with project management tools and methodologies is required.

What You Will Do

Responsible for Innovative Technology Solutions (ITS) Contract Administration function for ITS vendor contracts and ITS Service Agreements for paying clients, including:

  • providing technical services in developing standard terms and conditions for each contract document;

  • reviewing and preparing of contractual provisions;

  • negotiating terms and conditions and other contractual provisions with third parties;

  • facilitating the review of contracts by key stakeholders;

  • managing for all existing ITS contracts by monitoring the contract database;

  • upholding the internal policies and processes regarding contract management;

  • applying Paralegal skills to ensure contract terms are appropriate and that all THR and ITS processes are.

Planning and administration:

  • following assigned priorities and completing tasks within deadlines;

  • monitoring project progress and addressing workload problems in a timely manner;

  • prioritizing work appropriately;

  • providing timely and accurate status reports to management, working independently, while mentoring/assisting others;

  • minimizing unplanned absences for self and staff.
