Job title: Janitorial Service Worker
Job summary: Responsible for performing janitorial tasks as specified with commercial cleaning contracts to provide clean, orderly, and safe environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Clean floors, sweep, dust wet mop, scrub or vacuum. Service, clean, supply restrooms, toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, etc. Trash pick up and removal o designated areas. Clean windows, glass partitions doors, mirrors, and walls. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions per safety guidelines. Maintain building exteriors and parking area and parking areas, pick up all trash pressure wash. Treat all building occupants with courtesy and respect at all times. Operate powered equipment typically used in janitorial operations. Keep janitorial closets clean and organized. Perform other related duties as directed.
Qualifications: Knowledge of janitorial service equipment and procedures. Able to bend, stoop ,and reach. Work with and around cleaning chemical compounds. Lift and carry objects weighing up to approximately 35 lbs. Operate powered equipment normally found in janitorial operations. Must be trustworthy and reliable. Able to pass background check and drug screening. Work around the public. Work as a member of a team.
