Job Description
As an Electrical Assembler, you will perform electrical assembly of refrigeration houses, such as those found outside grocery stores. This includes running wires to complete the assembly of refrigeration units, wiring up lights or ceiling fans, and other custom tasks based on customer requirements. Some units will have prints and schematics, while others will require collaborative problem-solving to determine the process. You will use hand and power tools for assemblies and handle mechanical assembly tasks as well.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical assembly of refrigeration houses.
Run wires to complete refrigeration unit assembly.
Wire up lights or ceiling fans based on customer specifications.
Collaborate on processes for units without prints and schematics.
Use hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
Handle mechanical assembly aspects of the job.
Essential Skills
Electrical assembly experience from manufacturing or construction background.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Experience in wiring and panel wiring.
Familiarity with electrical wiring and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanically inclined individuals willing to learn electrical wiring.
Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
Capability to lift 20+ lbs regularly and 50+ lbs occasionally.
Flexibility to stand, sit, bend, and reach throughout the day.

Work Environment
You will work in a large manufacturing building in teams of 3-4 people. The environment is fast-paced and well-lit. While the shop is kept clean, the nature of the work means you may get dirty. There is no air conditioning, but fans are used to maintain air flow. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are required every day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
