Aerotek Assembler in Anoka, Minnesota

Job Title: Assembler : $18 to $22 per hour : Anoka, MN

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler on the production floor, where you will perform mechanical assembly and deburring of plastic parts. These parts are essential components used in airplanes. You will be working off work orders and documenting all findings. The role may involve repetitive tasks and requires comfort standing or sitting throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly of plastic parts used in airplanes.

  • Deburr plastic parts to ensure quality standards.

  • Follow work orders and accurately document findings.

  • Maintain focus and efficiency in repetitive tasks.

  • Adapt to standing or sitting for extended periods during the shift.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with hand tools and mechanical assembly.

  • Ability to assemble small parts with precision.

  • 6+ months of mechanical assembly or medical assembly experience, preferably 1-2 years.

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in documenting assembly processes.

  • Familiarity with maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, climate-controlled facility equipped with tidy workbenches. The team consists of approximately 7 assemblers. Most workstations have chairs, though some tasks may require standing for periods throughout the shift. The dress code is casual, with a requirement for nice shirts without offensive language or pictures, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. The first shift operates from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
