Our Client, a Fortune 100 energy company who specializes in pioneering new research and pursuing new technologies to create more efficient forms of energy, is seeking a Lab Specialist to join their growing team.
Type: Contract (one year, possibility of extension)
Location: Hunterdon County, NJ
Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st shift
Duties:
Operate lab-scale R&D processing equipment, including pumps, MFCs, etc.
Become very familiar with all operational parameters and equipment (pumps, reactors, gas meters, mass flow controllers, thermocouples, pressure transducers, etc.)
Perform analytical testing and submit/inventory samples as needed
Perform routine maintenance/mechanical work to support high service factor operations
Requirements:
3+ years of small scale R&D experience
Bachelors degree in science with laboratory experience at the college level and strong computer skills
Ensure quality by meticulously following both standard and job specific procedures
Strict quality compliance (accurate records, measurements, calibrations, etc.)
