What You Can Expect
The Logistics Operations Specialist is responsible for effectively managing, optimizing, and developing the company's supply chain and logistics processes. This individual plans and coordinates the necessary operations to ensure the timely, efficient, and policy-compliant transportation and delivery of materials and products.
Additionally, the Logistics Operations Specialist utilizes data analysis and reporting skills to resolve issues that arise during logistics operations, improve operational processes, and optimize costs. The specialist focuses on ensuring the most effective and reliable flow of materials by sharing process analyses and improvement outcomes with international offices.
This position is dedicated to identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities in operational processes to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure the seamless operation of the supply chain.
How You'll Create Impact
Track and optimize logistics and supply chain processes
Monitor the performance of logistics operations, review transaction timestamps, and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ensure all orders are reviewed according to entry criteria and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics processes
Accurately process customer orders and system-generated orders in SAP, ensuring all logistics information is correctly and completely recorded in internal systems
Monitor open orders daily and ensure timely fulfilment in coordination with the distribution team
Review documents and paperwork shared by the sender, ensuring they are archived properly and shared with the customs broker in a timely manner
Prepare detailed reports on logistics operations and conduct data analysis to provide visibility and support timely decision-making by management
Manage import, export, and return processes in coordination with warehouse, customs, and international teams, completing document preparations and maintaining effective information flow.
Ensure that return credits are processed correctly and promptly, maintaining constant communication with the finance team
Inform the finance team weekly about customs duties payable for import transactions
Carefully review customer requests (to prevent E&O from increasing and optimize inventory levels) and efficiently manage logistics-related orders and inquiries
Coordinate materials that require organization due to repair or quality issues

- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
Special expertise:
Experience in Microsoft Office Software (advanced Excel knowledge is preferred)
Experience and in-depth knowledge with SAP ERP systems
Experience with Power BI and/ or SmartSheet is preferred
Your Background
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics management or international trade, preferably with knowledge of customs and regulations
