Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
Seeking a candidate with strong electro-mechanical assembly skills for a 1st shift position. The role involves working on the sub-assemblies of portable analytical instruments.
Responsibilities
Responsible for assemblies and sub-assemblies working off instructions.
Perform basic functional testing on equipment.
Manage inventory and equipment related to the cell's operational requirements.
Comfortable working with rework or reassembling.
Essential Skills
Experience with small hand tools.
Ability to work off written and verbal work instructions.
Assembly
Testing
Debugging instruments
Rework assembly
Schematics assembly
Reassembling

Work Environment
You will be working on a team of about 25 people across the assembly, calibration, and repair departments in an ISO 9000 environment. Each candidate will have their own workstation to complete tasks throughout the day. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some flexibility.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andover, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
