Control Air Conditioning Corporation Process Piping Project Manager in Anaheim, California
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Piping Project Manager to join our team at Control Air Enterprises LLC in Anaheim, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process piping, project management, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering successful projects within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple process piping projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
Work with process piping fabrication team and detailing to oversee the design, fabrication, and installation of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Work closely with 3rd party quality assurance team.
Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates on project status, changes, and challenges.
Monitor project performance, addressing issues proactively to minimize risk and ensure project success.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, customer standard operating procedures, weld certifications, turnover packages, change orders, RFIs, and other related documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
Provide leadership and mentoring to project team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in process piping, project management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of piping materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Experience in managing large-scale industrial, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical projects is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
PMP Certification or equivalent is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
