Brunswick Test Engineer / Technician in Amsterdam, Netherlands

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Test Engineer/Technician will design and execute tests for product design, build test setups, prototype assemblies, and do lab maintenance.
Designing and constructing test setups for electronic equipment testing, such as batteries and power converters.
Assembling small prototype series and soldering electronic components and printed circuit boards.
Performing maintenance tasks in the lab to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
Developing test plans outlining test procedures and expected outcomes.
Executing tests manually or using automated systems at various levels and reviewing outcomes.
Documenting test procedures, results, and observations in detailed reports.
Participating in team meetings, discussions, and design reviews to contribute insights.
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
Hands-on experience in laboratory environments, including building and configuring test setups, assembling small prototype series, and soldering electronic components.
Good knowledge of electronics and lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and power supplies.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in an electronic development and testing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Good command of technical English; Dutch is considered a plus.
