Amazon Sr. Manager – GTM Specialist SA, Enterprise Applications, Migration and Modernization in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Key job responsibilities

-Manage a team of SSAs for Enterprise Applications, Migrations and Modernisations

-Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as developers and technical architects, to develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line-revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.

-Develop and deploy sales motions and programs that leverage Field Sales teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.

-Collaborate with the Service and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, release plan.

-Collaborate with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.

-Technical Thought Leadership

-Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects from internal and external sources

-Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud

-Coach SSAs in the skills needed to conduct training sessions for new and existing customers

-Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS SA community

-Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, datasheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices

-Become a trusted advisor within customer accounts to enable them to be “Cloud advocates”

-Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support

About the team

The WWSO is part of SMGS, which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent

  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

  • Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking

  • 10+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications

  • 7+ years’ experience leading high performance teams in a matrixed environment

  • 7+ years management of technical, customer facing resources

  • 7+ years of Enterprise Apps and/or Migrations and or Modernisation

Preferred Qualifications

  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.

  • Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud, including migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers, including strong written communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries and demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise, as well computer Science /relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
