The Technical Application Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible Joining the WITS team at Beckman Coulter you will have the opportunity to work with customers pre-sale, mid-sale and post-sale. Giving you the opportunity to work across all sectors of Beckman Coulter. As a Technical Specialist, you will have the sophisticated knowledge of general IT middleware topics such as networking, Security, HL7, ASTM, Applications and Workflow within the hospital laboratory sector.
This position is part of the Workflow and IT team (WITS) located in UK&I and will be remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional hardware, software and applications support to Beckman Coulter’s customers using our Data Management Middleware solutions and products.
As a Technical Application Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, you will be the lead for Remisol Applications, working with customers to build their rules for tests, providing patients safe and accurate results.
Take ownership of customer issues within the Clinical Information Management Technology product line, following problems through to resolution and updating the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) escalation Module, where applicable.
Become a source of expert knowledge on Beckman Coulter Data Management systems & IT solutions.
Work closely with the WITS Product Specialist in solution designs, to be able to technically validate and advise WITS Customer Operations Manager on any high tier upcoming projects/tenders in line with current standard work procedures.
To be accountable for the timely delivery of product MODS and working with CTS to manage the deployment.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Degree or Higher Education level qualification SNR BMS.
Extensive IT Applications Knowledge
IT experience within the medical diagnostics industry, at Pathology or Trust level is strongly desirable.
Knowledge and understanding of laboratory practices, Inc. a background knowledge of clinical chemistry and immunoassay would be advantageous but not essential.
