Location: Amarillo, TX | Pay Rate: $25 - $42/hour | Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift
Do you have a sharp eye for process, a passion for precision, and a deep understanding of manufacturing systems? At PDS Tech Commercial, we are looking for a Manufacturing Operations Planner to join our dynamic planning team—where engineering meets execution and innovation powers production.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Operations Planner, you’ll play a critical role in translating complex engineering designs into actionable production plans. You’ll help shape how aircraft assemblies are built, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and accurately. From planning and tooling to supporting change implementation, your work directly impacts our ability to deliver world-class products on time and to spec.
What You’ll Do
Break down released engineering data to create detailed work instructions and manufacturing plans
Implement engineering changes through collaboration with Change Management and Manufacturing teams, following Company policies and procedures
Analyze tooling requirements using Company CAD systems, and contribute to tooling design and evaluation
Provide real-time support to the factory floor, ensuring swift updates to production orders
Reconcile discrepancies between Engineering and Manufacturing Bills of Material (BOM)
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering teams to develop efficient, repeatable assembly sequences for major aircraft structures
Serve as a key liaison to the factory floor—supporting redline updates, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements
What You Bring
Required Skills & Experience:
3–5 years of experience in Production/Manufacturing Planning
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, aircraft assembly, and tooling methodology
Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and digital product definitions (CAD, GD&T)
Proficient with Company ERP systems—preferably 3DX (Dassault), PEO (SAP), and SAP
Experience reconciling Engineering and Manufacturing BOMs
Familiarity with MRB processes and change control procedures
Preferred:
Undergraduate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience supporting root cause corrective actions and tooling/process improvements
Background in aerospace or aircraft production environments

Pay Details: $25.00 to $42.00 per hour
