Your mission will be…

You will be part of the Center of Competence of Account Reconciliation (CoC Recon) team, located in Portugal. This team globally supports all delivery centers with optimization and harmonization of processes, digitalization, and tool implementation on Account Reconciliation area. It consists of a local management role related to the GBS WEA R2R AC 5 and a global support role supporting the GBS R2R AC Account Reconciliation community. Part of the role includes:

• Conducted thorough reconciliations of various general ledger accounts;

• Identify and comment discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner;

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensured compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reconciliation processes and improve accuracy and automation;

• Support in the growth and implementation of digital solutions for Account Reconciliation processes, collaborating cross-functionally with other strategists, innovators, product managers, and engineers to craft end-to-end business models that solve meaningful customer challenges;

• Continuously learning, analyzing, and refining the opportunity, steering the functional team through progressive strategy iterations, and taking ownership over the path to a scalable new business;

• SupportAccount Reconciliation implementation and automation;

• Collaborate with BO operations for Account Reconciliation activities in WEA scope.

We are looking for someone with…

• Professional with detailed understanding of finance processes and accounting practices, closing and reporting and with expertise in Account Reconciliation process;

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-growing company with a history of bringing products from concept to market, working in large global finance tool development and implementation;

• Experience of working across international and organizational boundaries;

• Proven success creating customer focused products;

• Strong initiative and demonstrated ownership quality across functions and levels;

• 3+ years of experience in Accounting;

• Curious about new technologies and trends;

• Proficiency in English;

• SAP FI knowledge (End user knowledge);

• Redwood designer knowledge.
