Insight Global QA/QC Coordinator in Alvarado, Texas

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator for a top Oil and Gas client in Alvarado, TX. This individual will be highly motivated to thrive in a team environment. As a QA/QC Coordinator you will be responsible for tracking and managing open quality investigations using 8D style problem-solving. This includes root cause and corrective action investigations for both customer-reported failures, as well as internal defects. They will be responsible for conducting statistical studies using Statistical Process Controls and other Quality Improvement Process tools. Additional responsibilities might include implementing a Quality Assurance and/or Quality Management System such as ISO 9000, API, ESME, etc. for the site or project to help identify problems, offer resolutions, and perform reporting activities.

Skills and Requirements

* Associates or greater (Engineering, Applied Science or related Technical Field education)

* 5+ years of experience in similar or applicable roles within oil and gas or mechanical product lines

* Experience managing and tracking quality investigations using 8D problem solving

* Ability to read and interpret machine or fabricated parts blueprints

* Experience creating inspection reports to be presented to clients

* Experience handling complex failure investigations null
