CARNEGIE EQUIPMENT Warehouse Associate / Delivery Helper in Altoona, Pennsylvania
The warehouse associate/delivery helper position is often the first face a customer sees when their order is fulfilled. Your daily duties could include receiving goods from our vendors, stocking goods in the warehouse and showroom, picking customer orders, loading trucks, delivering goods to customers by loading/unloading restaurant equipment and keeping our facility clean and organized.
Receives vendor shipments by unloading goods and moving to warehouse locations.
Frequently move items that weigh more than 50 lb.
Safely operate equipment like pallet jack, power assisted pallet jack, and forklift.
Prepares orders with 100% accuracy by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area.
Completes deliveries to customers by loading, delivering and as needed, removing existing equipment.
Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests, and stocking the warehouse and showroom as needed.
Assists customers loading goods into vehicles.
Provides quality service by following organization standards.
Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Completes reports by entering required information into computer system.
