ProVal Technologies is a consulting firm for Managed IT Service providers, helping them navigate and manage their suite of technology products to support end customers. Our team helps MSP's leverage best practices and efficiencies across their tools and technologies, to make MSP's more efficient and profitable. ProVal also takes on operational capabilities in managing non-customer-facing work for MSP's so they can focus their teams on building customer relationships.
As a Managed IT Software Consultant/Team Lead at ProVal, you will play a critical role in guiding and supporting our MSP partners in optimizing their centralized services functions, including platform automation, backups, monitoring, and more. In addition to providing high-level consulting services, you will also serve as a team lead, ensuring processes are followed, keeping tasks on track, and mentoring team members.
You will work closely with our MSP partners, leveraging a variety of communication methods to understand their business needs and help them maximize value from their tool stack. Additionally, you will collaborate directly with leadership to drive full-service delivery, maintain operational efficiency, and ensure the highest level of service quality.

Salary range: $85,000-$100,000 annually

Responsibilities:
Consulting:
Act as an advisor to ProVal's partners who are Managed Service Providers (MSP's), in helping their businesses move forward with tool automation and back-office assistance. You will be required to maintain a roster of client-partners and participate in calls as a major part of your job role
We encourage vCIO's, Net Admins, Sys Admins, NOC Managers, Centralized Service Managers at MSP's to apply for this role. This role requires a lot of partner/client interaction and a high-level knowledge of tools.
Evaluate partner needs and assign to service team to develop content that supports business processes, such as scripting, monitoring, reporting, patching, backups, security
Oversee partner on-boarding, overall satisfaction, manage ticket flow for partner and any other projects being performed for partner.
Audit and oversee implementation of ProVal best practice solutions within partner environments
Execute new plans for customers, and provide ongoing training and end-user support
Collaborate within a team to innovate new ideas and best practices for clients and the company
Communicate with associated vendors for support and assistance
Utilize company's PSA to document work performed
Team Leadership:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Consulting Team, ensuring that processes and best practices are consistently followed.
Provide guidance and support to team members, keeping tasks on track and ensuring timely completion of client deliverables.
Lead onboarding and training for new hires, ensuring they quickly adapt to workflows, tools, and service expectations.
Act as a bridge between the team and leadership, working directly with COO to support full-service delivery and operational excellence.
Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Assist in workload management, ensuring even distribution of tasks and prioritization based on urgency and client needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and refine internal processes.
Act as a subject matter expert for complex issues, providing technical guidance and problem-solving support to the team.
Requirements
Currently or previously worked for an MSP (within the last 2 years)
Prior experience in a leadership, mentorship, or team lead role preferred.
3+ years of experience in IT consulting, managed services, or a related field.
Prior experience as a vCIO with an MSP
Have exposure to MSP tools: ConnectWise, Kaseya, Datto, Ninja, Halo, backup and security products
Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to partners
Team player who is detail oriented and is eager to grow and develop their skills
