What is it that we do at Colonial Pipeline Company?

Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.

About the Optimization Reliability Program Manager Position

As the Reliability Program Manager, you will ensure the reliability and functionality of the pipeline systems at Colonial Pipeline. The Reliability Program Manager role provides advanced support and consultation on processes and technical expertise for the reliability of the pipeline systems. In this position you will lead the day-to-day management of the pipeline systems, having responsibility for the overall reliability of the systems and manage the evaluation, development, and implementation of both near and long-term reliability opportunities which create enterprise value.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in other Colonial departments to continuously evaluate the reliability and optimization in respect to the assets and recommend strategic business opportunities.

  • Create and implement business reliability plans to capitalize on opportunities and facilitate the integration of these plans into the company’s asset/business portfolio.

  • Lead and direct activities related to asset optimization and identify efficiencies that improve business reliability and support Colonial’s business results.

  • Serve on appropriate operations and business teams to achieve improved company results and create a positive corporate culture.

  • Lead, promote and encourage achievement of corporate and team goals by effectively allocating resources.

  • Guide, encourage and promote the development of employees to build an effective and productive work environment.

  • Lead maintenance team to ensure adequate updates and creation of equipment maintenance and reliability procedures in relation to preventative and predictive maintenance.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study; will consider a combination of experience and/ or education.

  • Ideally, 5+ years of experience in oil/ gas equipment maintenance.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Advanced level knowledge of mechanical systems, pipeline equipment, instrumentation, measurement devices, PLC communications devices, low voltage electrical systems and wiring, and other end devices used to monitor and control the pipeline.

  • Solid knowledge of budgeting and procurement processes.

  • Ability to think systematically and make sound decisions.

  • Ability to adapt to change while demonstrating interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated, have a phenomenal work ethic and looking for the right company to support your growth.
