ADP is hiring a Director of HRO Security Operations

Locations: Norfolk, VA; Tempe, AZ; El Paso, TX; Augusta, GA; Miami, FL

This role will lead a team of Analysts researching and resolving possible fraud and business security incidents identified by clients and associates across the HRO business unit. Our team acts as the first and last line in dealing with a potential Security or Fraud cases. In addition to timely triage and containment of incidents, this team proactively educates HRO associates, building skills and fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement. By leveraging data analysis and decision-making skills, the Director will identify vulnerabilities and implement effective solutions to enhance security performance. Ultimately, this role aims to protect sensitive employee information and maintain the integrity of HR operations across the organization.

In this role, you will identify and create training on proper procedures, and help define system and process changes to improve security practices across HRO. You’ll present on security activity, targets, and trends to senior leadership in HRO and ADP corporate.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in investigating and containing security incidents in a timely manner, including handling escalations from clients and client service teams.

  • Lead the team in identifying and reporting security and fraud trends that occur in the BU to Senior Leadership and GSO. Lead and manage the security operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.

  • You will work with the team and various business partners to report on best practices

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize business processes with security in mind.

  • You will use good judgment to interpret ADP Security and Fraud Policies and advise business leaders on the proper application of those policies.

  • Collaborate with application development teams to identify, design, and test system enhancements to better protect our client’s privacy and data security.

  • Analyze security incidents and data trends to inform decision-making and enhance security measures.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • You'll work with business leadership and project management to understand priorities and create automation accordingly.

  • You have 10+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in security operations or management, with a focus on human resources.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) a plus.
