What You'll Do:

Works directly with the Quality Manager to oversee the quality system. Assist with developing systems and documentation to uphold the quality system. Assure that Quality systems meet the IATF 16949 standard. Input all the production information and provide KPI's & related reports to management. Support the shop floor and provide assistance in continuous improvement activities. Oversee / maintain the PM system.

What We Need from You:
  • Engages with cross-functional teams within the organization to effectively manage quality systems.
  • Oversee document and data control.
  • Conduct quality system audits and facilitate external audits.
  • Manage certificates of analysis, calibration items, gages, and other related documentation
  • Procure samples, as required
  • Update documents, including but not limited to: Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, FMEAs, PCMs, LPAs, Quality Alerts, Procedures, Work Instruction, Visual Standards, Forms, and PMs.
  • Perform administrative duties as required in support of quality department and staff
  • Oversee / maintain the PM system.
  • Update and add PMs as needed.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvements activities.
  • Participate in plant Safety initiatives.

Requirements:

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate's degree is nice to have
  • Prior experience working within a manufacturing setting
  • Prior experience working with Quality Management System IATF 16949
  • Experience with internal and external auditing
  • Good PC Skills
  • Ability to be very organized
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
