St. Luke's University Health Network Robotic Process Automation Builder in Allentown, Pennsylvania

The Robotics Process Automation Builder creates RPA bots designed to automate processes and provide benefits to various SLUHN business units. The RPA bot will be designed to meet the requirements defined in the PDD and other documents. Works closely with business analysts to ensure the requirements are both complete and accurate and that the bot design meets those requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Focus on the design, customization and optimization of RPA solutions

  • Design, build, and improve automated processes using new technologies

  • Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds

  • Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Read and understand user requirements

  • Liaise with users and business analysts to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate and improve existing systems

  • Create plans for the design and architecture of RPA bots

  • Create TDD documentation to record technical details for RPA bots

  • Build RPA bots to meet user requirements

  • Create test plans designed to thoroughly test the functionality of an RPA bot

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY DEMANDS:

Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Information Systems, other appropriate technical or business major or equivalent work experience is required.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

5 + years building IT systems preferred. Minimum 2-3 years building RPA bots with direct experience with the UIPath RPA platform required. Experience with business processes or process improvement is required. Experience accessing and using database systems. Experience developing RPA solutions in a healthcare environment (specifically a hospital or provider network) is a plus. At least one year of sustained professional experience in programming (including scripting/coding), SQL and relational database and application development. Strong knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator and Bots, preferably version 2020.10 and above. Experience developing and consuming APIs. Able to design technical specification documents for RPA Project. Experience in Citrix automations using UiPath. UiPath RPA Developer certifications preferred but not required.
