HIRING LEAD ELECTRICIAN IN ALLENTOWN, PA
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to join our team. This role involves overseeing and working alongside a crew of 1-3 individuals on various job sites. The projects may include residential work, commercial fit-outs, new constructions, and service projects. The position requires a strong ability to lead, train, and manage a team while also being able to work independently.
Responsibilities
Lead, train, and manage a crew of 1-3 individuals.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
Plan layouts and installations.
Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems including light fixtures, switches, alarms, and panel boxes.
Install, repair, and troubleshoot breakers, transformers, and generators.
Bend conduit and work with various types of pipe (metal and non-metal).
Perform rough-in to finished work.
Conduct trenching and site work.
Communicate with field and office personnel.
Maintain safety precautions and adhere to safety standards.
Utilize Procore or PlanGrid software.
Essential Skills
Lead experience in a commercial setting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Troubleshooting experience.
Ability to train and develop helpers.
Ownership of hand and cordless power tools (lineman's, side cutters, channel locks, needle nose, strippers, flashlight, volt-tick or multi-meter, roto-splits, tape measure, key hole saw, hand bender, and utility knife).
Proper PPE (steel/plastic tip boots, hard hat, high viz shirts/vest, safety glasses, and gloves).
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification.
Journeyman Certification.
Bucket truck experience.

Work Environment
Work will be conducted in both commercial and residential settings. Employees must dress appropriately for the weather and be presentable at all times. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30am-3:00pm, with potential overtime and Saturday work as needed. Job sites are within 1.5 hours from Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and can extend up to Scranton and the outskirts of Philadelphia.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
