Validation Engineer I/II – Allegan MI

Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for a qualified, full-time, long-term project services Validation Engineer I/II contractor for one of our clients in the Allegan, Michigan area.

Responsibilities:

Level I:

  • Uses judgment and knowledge of procedures and precedents to organize work and solve problems.

  • Accurate documentation of all Validation activity.

  • Exercises independence in achieving objectives.

  • Utilize validation templates and tools to complete assigned projects.

  • Participates in Continuous Improvement opportunities and projects.

  • Advanced Computer skills (SAP, Trackwise, Microsoft Office, etc.).

  • Remains informed of regulatory landscape and product portfolio

  • Developing understanding of 21 CFR as it relates to drug manufacturing.

  • Developing technical writing skills.

  • Prioritizes and manages multiple assigned priorities daily with counsel and direction from leadership.

  • Identifies product quality issues and initiates appropriate actions

  • Developing decision making skills with management involvement.

  • Active team participant.

  • Developing teamwork and collaborative mindset.

  • Display positive communication skills to all key stakeholders.

  • Focus on individual's contribution and team success.

  • Collaborate with peers on projects to achieve team deadlines.

Level II:

  • Works independently to achieve broad or longer-term goals.

  • Determine scope and requirements for assigned projects with minimal management involvement.

  • Identifies and contributes to Continuous Improvement opportunities and projects.

  • Remains informed of regulatory landscape and product portfolio

  • Ability to teach Validation applications to others.

  • Intermediate understanding of 21 CFR as it relates to drug manufacturing and validation requirements.

  • Intermediate technical writing skills.

  • Prioritizes and manages multiple assigned priorities daily with limited counsel and direction from leadership.

  • Identifies product quality issues and assess validation impact with minimal management involvement.

  • Solid and accurate decision-making skills with minimal management involvement

  • Developing and exhibiting leadership and collaborative skills.

  • Assist in training of peers.

  • Focus on team success rather than individual success.

Education and Additional Skills:

Level I:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 0-2 years of relevant experience

  • Beginning or intermediate, career-level professional.

  • Developing knowledge of validation concepts.

  • Good problem-solving skills and logical approach, utilizing team and mentors for support in decision making.

  • Solid Research Skills

Level II:

  • Bachelor degree in STEM field combined with 2 or more years of relevant, progressively responsible experience.

  • Experienced, career-level professional.

  • Knowledge of a Validation Engineer Level I

  • Advanced knowledge of validation concepts.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, and logical approach based on sound clinical and regulatory judgement.

  • Strong Research Skills

Pay : attractive and based on experience – this would be an hourly position since it is a long-term contract with an enhanced benefits plan, which include health, 401K, vacation/PTO, holiday pay, and more.

Hours: M-F, standard dayshift hours, some flexibility is available. There may be some flexibility with a hybrid work schedule; however, this would come at a later date.
