Douglas County Watercraft Inspector (Seasonal/Temporary) in Alexandria, Minnesota
Level 1 - Watercraft Inspector and Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Educator: This position involves informing and educating the public about the threats of ecologically harmful aquatic invasive species (AIS) to Minnesota's waters. Level 1 Inspectors work at public water access sites, inspecting watercraft for invasive species, and educating the public by providing information to watercraft users. Level 2 - Watercraft Inspector and Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Educator: This position involves informing and educating the public about the threats of ecologically harmful aquatic invasive species (AIS) to Minnesota's waters. Level 2 inspectors work at public water access sites inspecting watercraft for invasive species, educating the public by providing information to watercraft users, and using modified pressure washer equipment to decontaminate watercraft. Must have the ability to drive a county truck and trailer. Level 1 experience is not a prerequisite for the Level 2 position.
