Description:

Position: Medical Records Specialist

Position Purpose: As a Medical Records Specialist at PACE Organization, your primary mission is to meticulously manage both electronic medical records and hard copy clinical documentation. You'll ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and uphold our established policies and procedures, contributing significantly to the smooth functioning of our healthcare operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Organize, maintain, and be accountable for our medical records system, ensuring alignment with corporate, state, and federal regulations.

  • Provide guidance and training to staff on medical record issues, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance.

  • Confidentially respond to requests for medical records, efficiently liaising with various departments and healthcare professionals.

  • Attend workshops and seminars to stay updated and implement best practices in medical record management.

Minimal Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1-2 years of medical records experience.

  • Minimum one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.
