Our client, a leader in the engineering industry, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - High Voltage to join their team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer - High Voltage
Location: Alcoa, TN
What's the Job?
Provide engineering support and leadership for electrical system engineering and safety programs.
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams in production areas throughout the plant.
Deliver electrical engineering and continuous improvement support, addressing recurring design and process challenges.
Manage and implement capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance activities.
Oversee external vendors providing electrical design and support functions.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with electrical systems and manufacturing processes.
Experience with industrial high voltage and 480VAC power distribution, transformers, and PLCs.
Proven ability to lead and manage electrical projects from design to commissioning.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
