Amentum Sr. Classified Support Technician in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Amentum is currently seeking a Sr. Classified Support Technician to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.

As a member of the team, you will:

  • Assist with provisioning and decommission of virtual images

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding the Client’s classified computing environments, as well as support of specific applications and hardware.

  • Successfully resolve more complex hardware and software problems.

  • Effectively support all services in end-to-end/swarm support model

  • Provide full support across multiple operating systems within environment (Windows and Linux)

  • Support computer system sanitizing and vulnerability remediation tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School diploma and 3 years of experience

  • Related experience can be substituted for relevant education and vice versa.

  • Must have an active DOE Q clearance or TOP SECRET clearance.

  • Demonstrated experience in frontline and field support services.

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge with KCS methodology.

  • Must have a working knowledge of PC operations which include: Hardware, network settings, operating system, & MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • VMWare training/certification

  • KCS certification

  • Degree in related field

  • Other Technical Certifications such as: A+, NET+, ACMT, Microsoft Fundamentals, etc
