Job Title: Multifamily SuperintendentJob Description
To provide leadership, management, and facilitate primary point of contact communications for all construction site-related activities, with an emphasis on site safety program administration, quality assurance, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
Administer the site safety plan, promoting safe working conditions and proactively preventing hazards.
Verify that subcontractors have executed subcontracts and all required exhibits are on file before they start working on-site.
Create, publish, communicate, administer, and update the 4-week production level schedule, ensuring compliance with the overall project schedule and budget goals.
Understand and manage the Prime Contract Scope, Plans, Specifications, and Bid Documents.
Identify and communicate deviations or conflicts in Construction Documents and participate in the resolution process.
Support and facilitate the Pavilion Quality Assurance goals, policies, and procedures.
Rectify any identified non-conforming or non-compliance issues promptly.
Assist the Project Manager in drafting the PUNCHLIST / DELIVERY acceptance procedures and ensure timely and quality presentations of work for inspection.
Seek additional training opportunities to further develop professional skills.
Manage and evaluate the performance of Assistant Superintendents and subcontractors.
Attend and participate in various project meetings, ensuring professionalism and accuracy in all communications.
Draft and communicate critical reports and documents to ensure timely, complete, and accurate information.
Ensure compliance with Document Management Protocol and audit stored files at demobilization.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
At least 2 years of experience building apartment complexes or multi-family/multi-tenant projects.
Ability to create look-ahead schedules, specifically a 6-week look-ahead updated weekly.
Knowledge of Procore and MS Project is a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Reliable vehicle to drive to job sites.
Experience coordinating and managing NM subcontractors.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Work Environment
Work will be conducted in an on-site office trailer. The role requires frequent travel to job sites and interaction with various subcontractors and stakeholders.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $62.00/hr.
