OVERVIEW
Prepare preliminary and final site plans for all modalities and maintain a modality specialty. Use experience, tact and judgment in managing non-routine requests. Assist and conduct training of department personnel. Resolve Site Planning issues that may arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a remote home based office role, with occasional travel into our corporate HQ in Tustin, Ca.
The ideal candidate would live within a reasonable commute distance to Tustin, CA.
Prepare preliminary and final site plans for all modalities of CMSU equipment installations.
Review preliminary and final CMSU equipment information drawings and specifications to ensure that there are no errors and omissions prior to distribution.
Maintain department productivity standards for turnaround times, hours to produce plans, and total number of plans. Plan own workload to meet customer and department expectations and requirements.
Provide leadership and be well versed in all modalities for training, mentoring, advising and guiding site planners.
Maintain a modality specialty and manage site-planning requirements within the New Product Introduction process.
Investigate and resolve site-planning issues for modality specialty and ensure this information is distributed within the site planning group and to frontline operations.
Maintain and manage customer, internal and external relationships.
Identify issues and present solutions to management for process and procedure improvements. Undertake advanced project type work as required.
Create and update Typical Detail Sheets for Canon Site plans. Assist in the maintenance of Computer Aided Drafting information and provide support for managing department workload.
Ensure that all data (electronic, written or other format) is recorded into required formats accurately and in the prescribed time frames. Assist in analyzing data.
Conduct site visits for installation/applications to build and maintain knowledge of equipment specifications, technical details and clinical use.
Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD software.
3D modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong aptitude to develop and maintain internal and external working relationships.
Has exhibited leadership skills.
Strong leadership, organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects at different stages, while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
2 Year Associate's DegreeDegree focused on a drafting discipline or successful completion of a drafting certificate program.
Pay Information: Min $67,900 to Max $109,200 DOE
