Job Responsibilities: * Lead generation: Actively search for and identify potential customers through various channels like cold calling, email outreach, social media, and market research. * Prospect qualification: Evaluate potential leads to determine if they meet the criteria for a qualified sales opportunity based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority. * Outbound communication: Initiate contact with prospects through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods to present the company's value proposition and generate interest. * * Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships with local businesses and advertising agencies to generate new business opportunities. * Needs analysis: Understand the challenges and pain points of potential clients to tailor the sales pitch accordingly. * Proposal Generation: Identify client needs and develop customized advertising solutions to meet their objectives. Use PowerPoint to develop proposals that highlight those solutions as well as use research to support recommendations. * Scheduling appointments: Set up meetings between qualified leads and the Account Executives for further discussion and potential closing. * Digital Campaign development and presentation: Designing effective digital media strategies across platforms like display ads, social media marketing, programmatic advertising, and video campaigns, presenting proposals to clients with clear ROI projections. * Digital Data analysis and reporting: Monitoring campaign performance using analytics tools to measure key metrics like impressions, clicks, conversions, and adjusting strategies accordingly. * CRM management: Maintain accurate information about leads and sales activities within the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. * Research: Utilize resources to monitor industry trends and competitor activities, to identify new business opportunities. Keeping abreast of emerging digital advertising technologies and trends to inform client recommendations. * Teamwork: Collaborate with internal digital, creative, research, newsroom, and administrative teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications: * Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication to effectively engage with prospects and convey product information. * Persuasive selling techniques: Ability to build rapport, overcome objections, and create interest in the product or service. * Prospecting skills: Expertise in identifying and sourcing new leads through various channels. * Time management: Efficiently manage a large volume of leads and calls while meeting daily and weekly quotas. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment * CRM proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software to track lead activity and manage the sales pipeline. * Market knowledge: Understanding of the industry, competitors, and target market. * Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data, analyze campaign performance, and make data-driven recommendations. * Resilience and tenacity: Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude when facing challenges. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic * High School Diploma * Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus, but not required * Knowledge of broadcast television, digital and advertising sales is a plus, but not required
