CVS Health Regulatory Compliance Manager (PBM), Meritain Remote in Albany, New York

Position Summary

  • Monitor regulatory developments and potential impact of regulations on pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and self-funded health plans.

  • Work with the Director of Compliance to review mandates and determine relevance to the company.

  • Present and coordinate information cross-functionally to ensure operational success with internal and external stakeholders related to regulatory PBM requirements.

  • Responsible for independently assessing a variety of complex compliance risk-areas.

  • Strategize with the Director of Compliance to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; aid in the development/implementation of corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.

  • Responsible for ensuring all licenses, certificates, authorizations, and other approvals needed to conduct business activities are obtained.

  • Represent the company with regulators on regulatory exams and complaints related to PBM services.

  • Monitor compliance activities to identify trends.

  • Assume other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years regulatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience with compliance, legislation regulations, and guidelines.

  • Ability to manage projects and influence staff with minimal supervision

Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of self-funded health plans and Third-Party Administrators.Education

Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
