Description

As a Payroll and Human Resources Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility. Your primary responsibilities will include managing payroll processes, assisting with human resources functions, and assisting with recruitment efforts. This multifaceted role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

  • Process and administer bi-weekly payroll for staff accurately and timely.

  • Verify and reconcile timesheets, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.

  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Human Resources Administration:

  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.

  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for hourly positions.

  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, such as background screenings and drug tests.

  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and professional assistance.

  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Previous experience in payroll administration and/or human resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and HRIS systems.

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
