MVP Consulting Plus, Inc. (Albany, NY) seeks Java Programmer to design, code, test, debug, and implement webbased applications. Conduct requirement analysis and transform business requirements to technical solutions implementation. Collaborate with designers, managers, and other developers across the project team to design, develop, and test web services in Java. Work with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Understand the architectural requirements and develop prototypes/proofs of concept. Develop and test user interfaces for both browser-based and mobile environments. Tune and monitor application performance. Maintain the security and integrity of the applications. Maintain the release management cycle as well as the software development environments. May work remotely from any location in US. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Computer Applications or a related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate work experience in software development/integration, including: use of Java, SAP Hybris and Spring MVC; developing/implementing web applications using JPA, JSON, and Angular; and writing complex SQL statements and queries against RDBMS such as Oracle or MS SQL Server. $98,155/yr.
