We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee quality control for federal construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing quality control processes and ensuring compliance with federal standards.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee quality control processes on federal construction projects.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with federal standards and regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality assurance.
Prepare and submit quality control reports and documentation.
Collaborate with project teams to address and resolve quality control issues.
Essential Skills
Current CQCM Certification
5+ years of experience on Federal Construction Projects
OSHA 30 Certification
Proficiency in USACE standards and procedures
Strong knowledge of quality control management in construction
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Exposure to SSHO/Superintendent roles is beneficial
Ability to travel for projects as needed
Strong communication and leadership skills
Work Environment
This position involves working on federal construction projects primarily located between VA and GA. The role offers a 12-month commitment with approximately 9 mini projects. Candidates should be open to traveling for work and willing to adapt to varying project requirements and environments.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
