Senior Operations Manager

Role Overview

  • Safety and Environment: Maintain and improve safety standards, support EHS projects, and address safety incidents with preventive solutions.

  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality and GMP guidelines, update procedures, track training and handle NCR and CAPA processes.

  • Task Planning and Scheduling: Organize tasks to meet deadlines, prioritize production, manage staffing, and prepare financial plans. Contribute to strategic planning (Hoshin).

  • Productivity and Efficiency: Implement strategies to boost productivity, propose process optimizations, create cost-saving projects, and lead continuous improvement efforts.

  • Communication and Mentorship: Guide operations leaders, set performance KPIs, communicate policies and strategies, manage inventory, ensure material availability, and address line down situations proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Prepare financial forecasts and annual operating plans, CAPEX projects; ensuring expenses are within approved budgets.

  • Ensure proper staffing to meet production line deliverables: Optimize manufacturing performance metrics such as productivity, cost of non-quality, equipment utilization, inventory, and overall efficiency.

  • Safety, Quality, and Compliance: Ensure adherence to GMP guidelines, compliance to regulations and always maintain a safe work environment.

  • Employee Development and Communication: performance reviews, development plans, succession plans.

  • Continuous Improvement and Lean Initiatives: Advocate and drive Operational Excellence, initiating and leading improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Economics, Administration, Engineering

  • Advanced English

  • 10 years of equivalent job experience in related fields (Supervisory, Supply Chain or Engineering roles for Operations) in Medical Industry is a must

  • 5 years of experience as people manager

  • Project Management Experience

  • Administrative shift

  • Onsite

Preferred

  • Production and Inventory Management Certifications

  • SSBB, PMP, CQE, CQA, APICS

  • ISO13485 Training

  • Black Belt certified
