WHAT IS OPS EMPLOYMENT?
Other Personal Services (OPS) employment is a temporary employer/employee relationship used solely for accomplishing short term or intermittent tasks.
OPS are at-will employees and are subject to actions such as pay changes, changes to work assignment and terminations at the recommendation of the employer.

DESCRIPTION :
Reviews and complete the Department of Juvenile Justice's Central Communications Center incidents assigned for review within the Office of Prevention Services.
Coordinates with leadership and staff regarding CCC incidents, corrective actions and updates from contract providers, determine if an administrative program review is required.
Communicates effectively with contract providers, maintaining a positive and collaborative working relationship with the Office of Inspector General.
Provide technical assistance as the Office of Prevention Services liaison between the Department and providers.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
Ability to collect evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.
Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials.
Ability to conduct fact-finding research.
Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to operational and management analysis activities.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Communicate effectively with customers (providers), maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with co-workers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Preference will be given to all candidates who possess the following:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of Central Communications Center (CCC) incidents experience.
A master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience.
Knowledge of the Department Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS).
Knowledge of the Department of Juvenile Justice's Central Communication Center incidents

Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
