SUMMARY The Senior Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Manager (Senior DEI-BM) supports PPGOH in the development and oversight of its diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives in collaboration with the Chief People, Equity, and Learning Officer. The Senior DEI-BM oversees PPGOH's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging and Learning goals and develops a comprehensive health equity framework that aligns with organizational goals. This position will facilitate use of new systems, technology, curriculum, and work across teams to advance DEI-B initiatives and integrate health equity into program design, implementation, and evaluation. The DEI-BM conducts an implementation strategy to prepare employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders to advocate for health equity initiatives at all levels of decision-making. The Senior DEI-BM works with members of the People, Culture, & Equity (PCE) department to ensure that associates comply with policies and procedures that support the overall PPGOH workplace value of "we respect and honor all people." The Senior DEI-BM supports community engagement initiatives and forges meaningful partnerships with key stakeholders and community organizations focused on health equity to advance DEI-B initiatives. Collaborates with senior leadership to integrate health equity principles into the overall DEI-B strategy and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the agency by monitoring the adherence to established DEI-B policies and practices. Manages DEI-B accreditation processes, provides updates, insights, action plans and coordinates/collaborates with CPELO and necessary stakeholders for success. Applies an equity and trauma informed lens to all goals and benchmarks of the Affiliate. Oversees engagement work that supports equity, belonging and advocacy work within PPGOH and its external stakeholders.
