CHILDRENS HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER OF AKRON Financial Analyst II: Provider Business Services in Akron, Ohio

Full-time, 40 Hours/Week Day Shift Remote Applicant must reside in OH or PA at the time of offer Summary: Provides financial support for provider (Physician and Advanced Practice Providers) contracting, policy development, implementation and continuous improvement of physician and APP contracting and compensation plans. Strives to meet Department goals through internal and external collaboration, with active participation on appropriate committees. Collaborates with department directors, managers, staff, medical staff, and administrative team members. Responsibilities: Monitors and administers provider compensation programs to best align with organization and health care reimbursement models. Understand Compensation and Productivity Benchmark Reporting and provide appropriate reports to management. Responsible for tracking and reporting the productivity of physicians/providers. Participate in reviews to ensure all compensation and bonus programs are market competitive through use of analysis and benchmarking and complies with regulatory requirements. Monitor changes in federal and state law related to wRVUs and productivity and the impact to the organization. Provides support in facilitating and assisting managers in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets with regards to provider compensation. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Other duties as required Other information: Technical Expertise Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Proven ability in financial analysis and accounting methodologies is required. Strong knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle is required. Experience with Physician Practices preferred. Education and Experience 1. Education: Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration preferred. Master's degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred. 2. Licensure: N/A 3. Certification: N/A 4. Years of relevant experience: Minimum of two years with a Master's degree or five years of relevant financial analysis experience. 5. Years of supervisory experience: None.
