Position Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in human resource management or closely related field required. Minimum of 5 years of professional human resource experience, including 3 years employee relations, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification required. Thorough understanding of state and federal employment laws and the ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies to each situation effectively. Thorough knowledge and understanding of Federal and State Paid Family Medical Leave Acts. Massachusetts Paid Family Medical Leave experience preferred. Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to influence people. Strong writing skills, including the ability to create and follow formatting, and achieve consistency in communication style. Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to effect organizational change. Strong leadership skills, and the ability to energize and motivate teams. Willingness to travel (up to 15%).
