Description
Licensing Coordinator
Our client, a corporation with offices in Addison, TX, is seeking a licensing coordinator to join their legal team. This role involves managing the licensing and permit processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will also be required to conduct extensive legal research, provide advice on licensing requirements, and assist with contract administration. This is a full time direct hire opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is looking to grow their legal career.
How you will make an impact:
Preparation of various documents and correspondence
File documents with Secretary of State
Coordinate the completion and review of new and renewal license and permit applications
Assist with contract administration tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with applicable policies, administrative regulations, and statutes
Requirements
3+ years licensing/permit experience
Contract administration experience a plus
Familiarity with licensing agreements, including business licenses and licensing compliance
Proficiency in legal terminology and legal research skills
Ability to handle compliance documentation and legal documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
Bachelor's degree preferred
