IAP Worldwide Services, Inc Network Engineer, Intermediate in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

IAP is seeking a Network Engineer, Intermediate to join our team. This opportunity is contingent upon award.

We are looking for a Network Engineer, Intermediate who is a demonstrated SME in communications network engineering, satellite communications, architecture, analysis, development, and network operations support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide communications engineering expertise to PEO C3T in pursuit of technical and policy solutions to tactical enterprise and local area C5ISR challenges facing the Army’s current and future forces.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a related scientific or technical discipline.

  • Minimum of five (5) relevant years of experience with tactical radio communications systems to include the following; SINCGARS Radio Set to include legacy ASIP Radio Sets, AN/PRC-148(V)2 and (V)4s, AN/PRC-152s, High Frequency (HF) Radios Sets to include the AN/PRC-150 and AN/PRC-160, Legacy SATCOM Radios such as the AN/PSC-5C and the AN/PRC-117F/G, software defined radios such as the AN/PRC-154A/C, AN/PRC-155, AN/PRC-148C, AN/PRC-163, AN/PRC-158, and AN/PRC-162 and Tactical Networking Radios such as the AN/PRC-166, AN/PRC-168

  • Minimum of four (4) relevant years of experience working with the planning of tactical communications waveforms such as SINCGARS, Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW), and Tactical Scalable Mannet (TSM), and network planning software such as the Harris CPA, JENM, ACES, RAP-TR, Black Sails and ATOM.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Field Engineer support of Tactical C5ISR systems in an OCONUS region supporting units in combat operations and/or advise/assist missions is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Requires technical expertise in the areas of communications network engineering, satellite communications, architecture, analysis, development, and network operations support.

  • Position should be an SME with regard to next generation technology insertion strategies and integration planning of future C5ISR capabilities.
