DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises is looking to fill a Program Manager position (960 hours per year) supporting Product Director, Aerostats.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Responsible for overall performance and quality compliance as stated by the client and contractual agreements.

  • Responsible for the overall leadership and management of program personnel to include subcontractors. Will support multiple projects within the customer’s portfolio.

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing/delegating, coordinating, reporting and budgeting actions.

  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks.

  • Implement and manage program changes and interventions to achieve program outputs.

  • Supervise subordinate staff and ensures compliance with all company policies and contract requirements.

  • Maintain efficient and effective execution of contract.

  • Assist management with the gathering and analysis of contract performance data.

  • Establish and maintain clear channels of communication with Government Leadership and the Contracting Officer Representative.

  • Interface with internal functional teams and external customers for planning, prioritization and issue resolution of overall activities in support and achievement of customer goals.

  • Provide required information to have invoices generated and submitted to the Government according to the established timelines.

  • Address workforce performance issues.

  • Formulates and reviews project feasibility studies, determines costs, ensures conformance to work standards.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Candidate must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment; provide constructive alternatives/approaches to solving issues; be flexible; have a strong sense of urgency for critical tasks; and must be able to handle multiple program aspects simultaneously while effectively managing schedule and communicating process.

  • Must be capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel.

  • Must have a thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems.

  • Must be capable of managing and controlling schedules and costs to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort.

  • Must be capable of providing direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures.

  • Must be capable of providing recommendations for resolution of technical problems.

  • Strong verbal communication and documentation skills.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage geographically disparate teams.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Seven (7) or more years’ experience providing program manager support at the Federal Government or DoD.

  • BA, BS or higher may be substituted for three (3) years of experience if degree is in a related field.

  • Must have knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of military systems.

  • Experience Interfacing with government and military personnel from entry-level to SES/GO levels.

  • Experience in knowledge in the Army Acquisition processes for Quick Reaction Capability, mid-tier, and major program acquisitions.

  • PMP Certification (Desired); DAWIA Level 3 (Desired).

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts to 20 lbs.

    Employees must be able to see and hear, read, and write effectively in English. Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, good judgment, reading, memorizing, social skills, speaking, stress control and writing. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication. Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel CONUS.
