Amazon Program Management Lead, JCI in 13, Japan

Description

Amazon is looking for an experienced Program Management Lead and people manager, to head the JP Sourcing and Inbound Program (SIP) team. The Head of SIP is Single Threaded Program Owner of our sourcing and inbound program growth and vendor facing experience. The role interfaces and influences Sourcing and Inbound Product teams, Operation and In-stock Management, both, at local JP and at global Amazon level.

The SIP team interfaces between Retail Vendors and our Supply Chain operation. The team owns key growth goals at JP level, and impacts Vendor Experience, Long-Term Free Cash-Flow, and Inventory working capital.

As a leader of the SIP team, you will be responsible for Business Development pipelines, long-range and short-range forecasts, Program Optimization, and Program Management across several program and feature launches throughout the year.

To be successful in this role, you need to be highly organized, a strong and influential communicator and be experienced for owning and managing big financial goals. This leader needs to be capable of connecting the dots across the wide supply chain and vendor landscape, and influencing multiple stakeholders at once. It requires a strong backbone, exceptional high judgement, and a deep understanding of sourcing and vendors to make accurate predictions that materially affect Amazon Japan financial decisions.

This is a role with high visibility to senior stakeholders across the Japan Retail and WW Ops leadership. To be successful, the leader needs to influence with and without authority, and communicate effectively with a broad scope of stakeholders. You will exercise strong judgement in growing supply chain programs, while understanding the upper funnel implications onto our inventory working capital. To be successful in this role, you will also relentlessly invent and simplify to drive productivity gains.

This is a large team management role, and this leader needs to grow a bar raising team of Bus. Dev and PgMs, and be capable of developing the best with their career at Amazon.

If this sounds like you, you can expect joining an inclusive and diverse team with a passion (and obsession) for customers, relentless curiosity and a strong shared focus on career and personal development.
